The two year collaboration with Soft Union was centered around this challenge of creating a platform for discovering “New Literature.” In response, we set out to create the best reading experience on the web. We obsessively deconstructed and reassembled the digital reading experience to emulate the tactility and immediacy of the printed paragraph. As part of that exercise, we developed two bespoke revival typefaces and a set of reading tools to reflect Soft Union’s printed voice.
